Guerlain is one of the more well-known brands of fragrance and, like many timeless brands, they have a few classic scents for men and women under their belt. Some of the more requested Guerlain perfumes are Shalimar and Vetiver, a perfume and men’s cologne, respectively. Guerlain Shalimar was introduced in 1925 and has been a mainstay ever since as an evening fragrance. Shalimar by Guerlain is a strong oriental floral fragrance consisting of iris, rose, and vanilla scents blended together. Guerlain Vetiver, in addition, was introduced in 1959 and, as a men’s cologne with a woody scent reminiscent of the outdoors, has become a classic fragrance. Vetiver by Guerlain has vetiver as one of its ingredients, as well as tobacco, spice, and wood.

Guerlain has newer scents on the market, as well, with Insolence and Mahora being two commonly requested women’s perfume scents by Guerlain. Insolence, contrary to its name, is a floral and fruit perfume in which a violent scent is embellished by red berries and accented nu orange blossoms, rose, iris, and Tonka bean. Mahora, a women’s perfume by Guerlain introduced in 2000, is another oriental fragrance, consisting of a combination of exotic flowers with vetiver, sandalwood, and vanilla.
