Samba is a brand by fragrance makers Perfumers Workshop, and Samba is the most popular and longest line product by the brand. Samba perfume started in the late ‘80s as a romantic women’s perfume. The original Samba perfume, introduced in 1987, has a flowery combination made from various flowers. For men, the Samba cologne appeared in 1993, but Samba cologne is for casual wear and has a fragrance body consisting of greens and herbs on top and lower notes of floral notes and amber. Aside from the original Samba perfume and cologne, other Samba offshoot fragrances include Samba Nova, Samba Natural, and Samba Unzipped – all in formulas for men and women. Samba Natural, for example, is an aquatic perfume for women consisting of notes of soft fruits, flowers, and woods, and the Samba Natural cologne has typical masculine scents of spicy, lavender, and amber notes, which are accented by wood and spice.
