Yves Saint Laurent Opium perfume, introduced in 1977, is an oriental fragrance made of rose, carnation, sandalwood, pepper, lily of the valley, and clove. As a cologne, Opium for men was introduced in 1995 and has an overall oriental and woody body made of vanilla, ginger, pepper, and cedar.

Paris by Yves Saint Laurent is a flowery evening fragrance with notes of mimosa, orange flower, rose, moss, sandalwood, and amber.
